This is Hien – a standard-size katana forged from high-performance T10 steel, featuring a visually striking flame-style hamon achieved through traditional clay tempering.
The blade is polished with twenty-five stages of meticulous hand-finishing, revealing a brilliant mirror sheen and visible hamon line.
Its handle (tsuka) is wrapped in black cotton cord over genuine rayskin, paired with engraved brass fittings and a wave-inspired tsuba that echoes the flow of the blade.
The red lacquered scabbard (saya) is handcrafted from dense hardwood with swirling patterns reminiscent of flickering flames, secured by a black and red sageo knot.
Whether for cutting practice, martial arts display, or collection, this katana offers both aesthetics and performance worthy of your sword stand.
