This is the Rairyū Katana 雷龍 – a meticulously polished Japanese katana forged from T10 steel with traditional clay tempering. Designed for collectors and practitioners alike, it embodies the essence of Japanese sword-making.
The 72 cm blade features a real yokote line and bo-hi groove, burnished with a full 25-stage Japanese-style polish to reveal a vivid hamon temper line. The tsuka is wrapped in genuine rayskin and gray ito, complemented by antique-style brass fittings with dragon motifs.
What sets it apart is the rare full ray skin saya – handcrafted with real rayskin, polished to a gloss finish and reinforced with genuine horn parts. A piece that bridges tradition and performance.
