Featuring a striking crimson lacquered saya and a traditional black tsuka with vivid red rayskin underlay, this blade makes an unforgettable impression both in motion and at rest.
The blade is clay-quenched and hand-polished through fifteen meticulous grinding steps, with a real yokote at the kissaki. While it is not clay-tempered in the traditional hamon style, the steel’s toughness and the curved profile make it ideal for cutting practice or collection.
