Shipping, delivery & customs
Verified orders are usually processed in 1–3 business days. Standard handcrafted katana normally need 7–21 business days of workshop preparation before dispatch; peak periods may take longer.
Transit begins after dispatch. Most destinations take about 7–15 days, mainland Europe about 17–20 days, Japan about 12–15 days. United States: Standard Shipping is free — sea freight to the U.S. (about 12–18 days) plus local delivery (3–7 days), about 17–25 days in total. Or choose Expedited Air from $20 — air freight to our U.S. hub (10–15 days) plus local delivery (2–5 days), about 12–20 days in total.
Shipping is calculated separately from the product price using each cart item's confirmed shipping type and quantity. The final rate is shown at checkout. EU VAT is typically included for standard packages; UK and other non-EU duties are generally not included. Swords over 1.18 m follow an oversized exception.
Returns & support
Eligible unused, non-custom items in original condition and packaging may be requested for return within 30 days of delivery. Custom products and gift cards are not returnable.
For non-quality returns, the customer covers return shipping. If an item arrives damaged or defective, contact NIMOFAN promptly with your order number and photos so the support team can review it.

Just to clarify — the sword you received is a reverse-edged katana (逆刃刀 / sakabato), crafted exactly as described on the product page and true to the anime Rurouni Kenshin. In the story, Kenshin Himura wields this unique blade with the sharp edge intentionally placed on the back side, symbolizing his vow never to kill again. Your sword was made to order based on that design. It’s possible that the reverse edge detail wasn’t fully noticed before purchase or discussed with us in advance — but rest assured, your katana is exactly as intended. That said, many customers love the look of this katana but prefer it with a standard cutting edge — and we can absolutely create that as a custom request. If that’s something you’d be interested in for the future, feel free to reach out. We're also happy to take a look if you share a photo, just in case there's something else you'd like us to check.
Blade is sharp and looks cool, but saya had a minor scratch. Still worth it overall.

I was scared after my purchase that this may be a scam but boy was i wrong first the packaging was awesome you could tell they wanted the sword to make it to the customer safe and not damaged. Two when I pulled out the sword and smelt the oil and saw the blade i knew i am definitely buying from this company again it is very sharp and all around beautiful. Thank you all and keep up the good work will be purchasing another very soon.
