How to make a katana?
Crafting a katana requires intense passion and exquisite craftsmanship. At NIMOFAN Katana, our razor-sharp blades are hand-forged by a team of experienced master blacksmiths who pour their heart and soul into every sword they create.
Who are we
Our Team
Hiroshi Sato, our Head of Research and Development, is the sensei of swordsmithing. With decades of experience and a love for traditional craftsmanship, he ensures every NIMOFAN blade is a masterpiece. Off the clock, he tends to his bonsai collection and practices calligraphy.
Nimori, Hiroshi's son and our young ambassador, bridges old-school cool and new-school swagger. Learning from his dad, he keeps the ancient art of swordmaking alive. Nimori's passion for manga and anime brings a modern flair to our katanas.
Ryze, our fearless founder, caught the katana bug in Seki City. But his true obsession lies with ancient Chinese weapons. Inspired by legendary blades like the Goujian Sword and the Ganjiang and Moye Swords, Ryze is on a mission to showcase the beauty of Asian craftsmanship to the world.
Emily leads our customer service team, ensuring every interaction with NIMOFAN is as exceptional as our products. With her contagious laughter and ability to brighten anyone's day, Emily is the heart of our team.
Our 11 skilled artisans pour their heart and soul into every blade. From heavy metal enthusiasts to zen masters, each brings their unique personality to the forge, crafting katanas and Chinese swords that are more than just weapons - they're works of art.
That's the NIMOFAN dream team. A little quirky, a lot passionate, and 100% dedicated to creating blades that would make even the most legendary warriors proud.
